Why Do We Have a +1 Year Anniversary Event?

We inaugurate in 2016 an annual event which takes place at Adrian’s Hub during every month of October. The timing for the event is set during the month of Adrian’s Hub anniversary (two years old in 2016).

I, and therefore Adrian’s Hub, encourage growth, taking action, both at the personal level and at the career or business level. If you look at the bottom of any of my blog posts, you will see that my desire, my dream, is to grow myself, then teach and help others to step up and inspire them to offer help in their turn. Not the easiest thing to do, won’t be many followers, but those who go through the process will probably be better and feel better about themselves.

I have seen very interesting developments in this area for some of our members, probably encouraged by the rewards system too. But even if initial motivation was the pursue of a prize or the desire to win a competition, consistent action taken will in most cases snowball, and a growth-oriented person will begin to find motivation in the journey itself, which will place her on the path to success.

The +1 Year Anniversary Event is a way to encourage, praise and recognize your growth, generated by repeated and consistent small steps or big leaps forward when you find the courage to step out of your comfort area and keep on improving. And to thank you for being involved in our community.

You have set yearly resolutions before, no doubt. Do you usually meet your expectations written down in those resolutions? If you do, then this event’s rules — or lack thereof — should be easy for you to follow. Otherwise, perhaps it’s time to track your long-term goals more closely, and +1 Year Anniversary Event should only help you with that.

How to Participate?

This is what I want to encourage in our +1 Year Anniversary Event. There will be two kind of actions or evolution that will make the difference in our anniversary event:

1. Your Evolution Since Last November. This includes, without limitation, evolution inside Adrian’s Hub, your self-development, progress in your own business. You will need to share this evolution in the comments below to enter the competition. Make a good case for yourself and also try to provide means for people to notice the improvements.

Our topics at Adrian’s Hub revolve around online businesses (specifically earning online and online marketing) and personal development. So, stuff like starting to track your results, building your own list, using custom-designed ads and branding (instead of standard promotional materials), becoming a great affiliate, helping and teaching others to get better results, having an active social media presence, networking, having an active blog, developing your own products (or improvements for them) etc. qualify as evolution, in my humble opinion. As do your self improvements (better time management, setting, tracking and achieving goals, developing a daily/weekly routine, learning and applying new skills, improved techniques etc.) or consistent actions taken on Adrian’s Hub (including on my blog, our social media pages, Skype room, bringing in new members, advertising with us, PTD, VIP, contests, listed in no particular order).

We start each year at different levels. Which means evolution looks and is different and unique for everyone. If your steps forward don’t look as impressive compared to others who started this year from a higher level, it doesn’t mean they aren’t very important, and a building block for you to reach a higher level yourself. There is a saying in online business, with which I completely agree: “You need to learn to walk before you can run.”

2. Action Taken On Adrian’s Hub During the +1 Year Anniversary Event. I will know of your actions, but sharing them in the comments below for others to see should only be beneficial.

How to Be a Winner With +1 Year Anniversary Event?

There won’t be any ranking during this event. Simply because there can’t be one. We can’t compare results of people at different levels of growth, but we can see evolution. For one person, starting to track the advertising results can be a major improvement, for others, launching a product or adding thousands of subscribers to their lists means real evolution. For some, going from continuous loss to regular profits can be a major breakthrough. For others, better time management or setting and achieving goals can be an improvement.

We will rely on two things to determine our event winners. The opinion of our members (so please reply with your thoughts; for instance, if someone’s progress grabs your attention, let him or her and us know by replying to the comment he or she shared). I will also have a say on who gets what prize. If you won’t like how the the results turn out, you know who to blame. :P

It will help if our members already know you and have witness your evolution in some way, so your progress on Adrian’s Hub is also important for this reason.

Remember! You will only enter the competition for top prizes if you comment below and let us know which were your biggest achievements lately (specifically since November last year). You might win one of the 15 $1 prizes even if you don’t comment, for your actions on Adrian’s Hub during the event. But not one of the top prizes.

The way you present your accomplishments and breakthroughs is up to you. If you need advice on how to write about them, may I suggest something like two snapshots. In one snapshot, you describe where were you last year (with what difficulties you faced), and on the other snapshot you describe what are the steps forward you took on Adrian’s Hub, in your business or for improving yourself. Just like before and after pictures, if you want.

My deepest desire and hope is that +1 Year Anniversary Event is only a pretext you can use to keep getting better, as is Adrian’s Hub entirely. After a while you will still enjoy the public recognition of your progress, but the journey and your already attained successes (small or huge) will fuel you instead.

What Are the Prizes?

1x Pro lifetime upgrade at Adrian’s Hub ($55)

1x Interview on Adrian’s Hub

1x $50 prize

2x $10 prizes

3x $5 prizes

15x $1 prizes

The 15x prizes will be awarded during the month of October. Getting one of these prizes don’t exclude you nor improve your chances of receiving one of +1 Year Anniversary Event top prizes, which will be awarded at the end of the event.

Cash prizes will go to your commissions at Adrian’s Hub.

Not a Member of Adrian’s Hub?

Everyone can participate in our event. But prizes will only go to our members! :)

  1. +1 Year Anniversary
I haven’t been here too long, but I joined seeking to rebuild my soiled reputation. I was the owner of a failed attempt at running a TE. I spent way too much money to achieve failure. I am starting over here, now, to rebuild trust with others who know me and to learn the little things that can make me successful in any future ventures.

Secondly I must applaud Adrian for his ideas and also something you may not get elsewhere. That something- Adrian answers his emails!! No matter how bad I screw things up or how silly the question, He is always there with an answer and good advice to help me. Thank you for that.

  2. Thank you as well for your kind words, Gary, and for choosing Adrian’s Hub to start over!

I haven’t heard of a successful person who doesn’t have his share of failed attempts. I hope you’ll rebuild trust with others, you certainly take action here at Adrian’s Hub, which hopefully means you learned from your failure and moved on. Remember to keep a positive attitude about the future, and with steady action, things will get back on track.

  3. This is the “official start” for our +1 Year Anniversary Event, although the exact time frame isn’t very relevant since we’re looking at our long-term evolution since last year.

A reminder that all top prizes will be distributed at the end of the event. And all $1 prizes will be distributed during the event, starting now.

The first $1 prize is awarded to Remon (aka rhaiymundt) for regular activity on Adrian’s Hub without ever being in the top to get one of the big prizes. This is an encouragement, keep on being active and aim higher! :)

  5. I am so happy being rewarded just for logging in almost every day just trying to be active day by day. From time to time reading somewhat and finding out what to do here. I hope being here with the professionals I also will get trained and become a better me in the future.
Thank you Adrian for this opportunity to grow in this marketing business.
I think I am still a little slow but I am doing my utmost.

  8. Yes I,m using landingpagemonkey to create better ads .I,m trying to get more friends at ctp so I can spin the wheel more.I have learned how to add credits to my sites so they will stay out there longer. So when I,m watching tv I use my cell phone to get credits done.

Honestly my biggest accomplishment @Adrian’s Hub this past year was learning that the main contest is not for me and that referring and the VIP ladder are “my thing” and I never thought I’d end up being the highest bid getter (so far) of Adrian’s refs he has auctioned off :-O

  10. Ok, thank you Meredith, it’s great that you are a focused person, that can help a lot.
Adrian Gurgui recently posted…Kore of Your Advertising

  11. Great that you started to use LPM. Yeah, assigning credits to keep the ads rolling is important. And can take a lot of time too, if you have many places to do that, individually.

  16. Thank you, Adrian! :-)

Family matters caused me to be offline this past year…but…I am now back and rolling up my sleeves and getting back to work.

I did find I had to take a big step backwards and end my co-op. In no way was it a failure, though. Adrian and I met through CTP teams and “Our Co-op” brought him and many others and myself to a great business/friend relationship.

Adrianshub has helped me put things back into perspective reminding me of the steps I have to take to get back on track and more. :-)

  17. Thank you, Judy! Impressive come-back, especially here at Adrian’s Hub, where I watched it. :)

  21. Bob Swetz // October 16, 2016 at 5:37 pm //

My online business growth story is more personal rather than financial. I was in the marketing business about 5 years ago but recently re-energized and refocused in November of 2016. I decided to continue with a program that I had let go dormant from 2010, but that didn’t go so well. However in the process, I met a few great people that are still close friends today. I was also reminded of just how difficult this business can be and how dishonest people can be in an effort to make money online. I finally joined a marketer as my mentor who had what looked like an excellent mix of programs and a success strategy that would take my business to the next level, however after working with him for a few months, I realized he was just like the rest and I had to get out. Finally, I decided to go it alone with my own consulting business. I figured I could use everything I learned over the last 10 months and share it to help others in a way I wanted to, which was with honesty, integrity and Christian values. So, here I am today, probably not making as much money as I could, but finally running my own online business exactly the way I believe it should be.

  22. Thank you for sharing your story, Bob! I’m glad you found your way. It is important to stick to our core values, because in the end, that’s what really should guide us, not profit.
